Remember a couple of weeks ago the Fashion Mister and I went to Daylesford, it’s where I took all the heart photos. I just realized that I hadn’t shared with you the photos of what I was wearing that day – so here I am wearing red and white in Daylesford!
As it was the beginning of February, the month of all things love related, red and white had to be my theme of the day and all achieved by using some of my most well-loved articles of clothing.
No WAY: There we were, walking down the main street in Daylesford. The place was teeming with out of towners and I let the Fashion Mister take photos. AND, I posed for them?! Of course people were giving us funny looks as they walked by but I pretended there was a famous face hiding behind the sunnies.
Some Favourites: Pretty sure I have worn all of these items in other looks. Hopefully you aren’t too bored with seeing them because as they are some of my favourites, you’ll likely see them again…and again. The look started with my red graphic tank top purchased from the op shop in the middle of last year. From there I added my red cotton pants and rolled the cuff up to make them look more weekend appropriate and casual. I then grabbed my fitted white jacket, which is perfect in the summer because it is light-weight and as we made the drive over with the top down on the car, it kept me from getting sunburned arms.
A Touch of Black: Because my little quilted ballet flats are black and white I used a black belt to help tie them into my overall look.
Accessories: To finish off the look, my chunky white watch and the gorgeous Furla bag I purchased while we were in Madrid!
It was a perfectly comfortable yet stylish look that worked well for the hot day and wandering around town shopping and taking photos.
What do you think of my wearing red and white in Daylesford look? Do you have a favourite red item that keeps popping out of the closet?

What do you mean, “pretend”? To all of us, you are a “famous face”.
I just bought a pair of red jeans that have to be hemmed – even though they are petites – and I can’t wait to wear them!

LOL!
Maybe more infamous.
I really do love red pants, they are far more flexible in a wardrobe than you originally think.

Misses!
You are so good for my ego.
Can you move to Australia and have a daily coffee with me?
I got the pants from Target and wear them about once a week so they have been fantastic value.
Cheers,
Laura
