You all know how much I love Melbourne, after all I go on and on about it pretty regularly. I’m really excited that the city vibe has arrived in regional Victoria thanks to a new cafe/bar – The Lane.
The Lane
The Lane: Melbourne is quite famous for its lane-way cafes, restaurants and bars and at last Ballarat has its own fantastic lane-way hangout. The front cafe area sits on Lydiard. You can sit, read the paper have a coffee and watch the world wander by. Or you can move to a quieter area down the lane and enjoy a meal and a drink.

The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane: Not only is this now one of the coolest places to hang out in Ballarat but Abby makes the best coffee in regional Victoria. For one so young she certainly has a fine appreciation of the power of a beautiful coffee. Abby has been making me coffees since her first job in hospitality and I have followed her for over 6 years now.

I’ll be Back for More: The Fashion Mister and I are planning to have a good catch up with some friends down at The Lane and I’ve asked Abby if I can come back and use the spot for a mini fashion shoot but if you have a look at these goodies, you’ll know that I’ll be back there many more times for a coffee and sweet fix!

I SO agree!
More people mess them up than make good ones. Abby at The Lane and Chris at Cafe Cornucopia make the best coffees in Ballarat.
